This page will include some information about Our Faith,
and why we feel so strongly.
For both Janet and Gerry our Faith is very strong. God has been the center point of our Love and our lives. We are both practicing Roman Catholics and proud of it.
God has been with us through every step in our lives.
Sometime you ask for help and you don't get the answer you want or no answer at all. You need to be patient and something will happen. In my case God did not answer me with what I thought I wanted but then a little while later I received a gift that has made me happy for many many years.
We are sure Christ died on the cross and rose again 3 days later. Because of this sacrafice we are sure he died for our sins. We are aware of the Last Supper when Jesus gave us the Eucharist; and we recieve the real Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Follow this link Miracle of Lanciano.
The following contains our basic beliefs.
John 3:15 For this is how God loved the world: he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

John 20:23 Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them: and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained. (This is the act of Contrition/Confession)

Luke 22 VS:14–23 This is when Jesus gave us the Holy Eucharist
14 When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. 15 And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”
17 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you. 18 For I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
21 But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table. 22 The Son of Man will go as it has been decreed. But woe to that man who betrays him!” 23 They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who would do this.
This is the first Eucharist; it is practiced daily in the Catholic Church. Some people doubt the real presence of Jesus. See the link below and you will see it for your self.

Janet and I have been a Eucharist Minister many times over the years and over the years regardless if we have been passing out the bread or the wine there is a very special feeling that comes over us.
Some folks wonder why Catholic's Genuflex when they enter or leave the church. The reason is due the real presence Christ in the church and is done out of respect.

Baptisim
In the Catholic Church, infants are baptized to welcome them into the Catholic faith and to free them from the original sin they were born with. Baptism is the first holy sacrament, followed by: Eucharist, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Anointing of the sick, Marriage and Holy Order.
The Catholic recognizes all Christian Baptism's, as long as it was done using water and namingnthen Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
